Cabela’s King Kat Tournament Trail will return to the home of Super Man, and some of the best trophy catfishing on the Ohio River July 28th, 2012! This event is sponsored by Metropolis Tourism and has quickly become one of the favorite stops on the trail. This is the third year that Metropolis has played host the the Cabela’s King Kat Tournament Trail.
Kids Fishing Rodeo- A free kids fishing rodeo will take place from 9-11am at the Ft. Massac State Park Trout Pond. It is free and for kids 12 and under. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Be sure to bring your favorite fishing pole! All participants will be registerd to win 1 of (6) $1,000.00 college scholarships that will be drawn at the Crappie USA Classic in Oct.

Entry Fee: $200
Big Fish: $20 (optional)
Late fee of $25 is applied to those that sign up within 15 days of the event.
All participant must be a KKA Member. Membership is $25 annually. Anglers can sign up for membership at late registration.
Legal Water: Team may fish the Ohio River from HWY 62 bridge in Wickliffe up to the Smithland Dam. Angler may also fish the TN River to KY Dam and the Cumberland River up to Barkley Dam.
