General Info:
This event is sponsored by the City of Selma, Dallas County Commission, Chamber of Commerce, Alabama Power Co., and First Cahawba Bank. $5,000.00 guaranteed minimum payback, $5,000.00 minimum guaranteed payback to a minimum 5 place or 15% of the field. Payback increases once participation reaches 32 boats.
Must be a member of the King Kat Association, $25 annual membership can be paid at late registration Friday, June 22nd from 5-7pm, or by clicking the link on the home page or by calling 270.395.6774.
FREE KIDS FISHING RODEO: For kids 12 and under. Must be accompanied by an adult. Registration is from 8-9am, and kids fish from 9am-11am. Kids be sure to bring your favorite fish pole! All participant will be registered for the drawing to win 1 of (6) $1,000.00 college scholarships that will be given away in Oct. at the Crappie USA Classic.

Cabela’s King Kat Tournament Trail to hit the waters of the Alabama River at Selma, Alabama
The Cabelas King Kat Tournament Trail will hit the waters of the Alabama River at Selma, Alabama June 23, 2012. This is the opportunity for local catfish anglers to compete for cash, prizes and a chance to pre-fish and advance to the Cabelas King Kat Classic which will be held here on the Alabama River at Selma, Alabama September 27/28/29, 2012. Be sure to check out our new website at: www.kingkatusa.com. It’s a new site with new and exciting information on our events along with special information for catfish anglers everywhere.
Weigh-In Site
The tournament weigh-in will be held at the Selma City Marina. Tournament hours are6:30 AMuntil3:00 PM. All anglers must be in weigh-in line by 4:00 PM with a 5 fish limit per team. To help preserve the sport only live fish will be weighed in and all fish will be released after the tournament. Registration
“Please note new rules on registration”.
1. Late registration will be held the day before competition at specified location from 5-7 pm. Captains Meeting/Seminar will follow at 7pm.
2. There will be no meeting, late registration or boat launch the morning of the event. Anglers will be allowed to launch on tournament water at 5am tournament morning. No fishing is allowed until 6:30am.
3. Must be a member of the King Kat Association to fish this event. A one year membership is $25.00.

Legal waters for the event will be: Alabama River from the Robert Henry Lock & Dam to the Miller’s Ferry Lock & Dam.
